帽子店を営んでいた父の背中を見て育ち、製作の道へ。帽子の名門メゾンにて7年半、職人技術と精神を修得。2009年に独立。
素材とかたちへの真摯な向き合いを軸に、2020年、自身のレーベル「Masakazu Furusawa」をスタート。

Masakazu Furusawa
Growing up watching his father run a hat shop, he was drawn naturally into the craft. He spent seven and a half years at a prestigious millinery maison, where he refined his technique and philosophy. Independent since 2009.
Rooted in a sincere engagement with materials and form, he launched his eponymous label, Masakazu Furusawa, in 2020.
